Davida van der Merwe is a highly qualified and passionate optometrist with a deep commitment to ongoing medical education and evidence-based practice. Her training spans advanced optometric studies, neuro-optometry, and learning difficulties such as dyslexia.
In 2019, Davida became a certified Stark Griffin Dyslexia Professional, enabling her to assess and diagnose dyslexia based on type and severity level—an important step in securing educational concessions and tailored treatment. She works collaboratively with speech and occupational therapists to provide holistic support to patients with learning difficulties.
