Davida van der Merwe Optometrist is a registered optometry practice based in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. We provide professional eye care services, including but not limited to: vision testing, prescription lenses, contact lens fittings, dyslexia assessments, and the sale of optical products.
All information and services provided by this website and our practice are intended for general information and professional eye care purposes only.
They do not replace the advice of a medical doctor or specialist. Any diagnosis or treatment should be discussed during a formal consultation.
All consultations, products, and services must be paid for at the time of collection or service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit card, and EFT.
Quotations for spectacles, lenses, and services are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
Frames and lenses are custom-made products and cannot be refunded once the order has been processed unless defective.
Any faulty items must be reported within 7 calendar days of collection.
Exchanges are subject to inspection and approval by management.
Refunds, if approved, will be processed via EFT and may take up to 14 working days.
Prescriptions are issued following a professional examination.
Patients are responsible for disclosing accurate health and vision-related information.
We are not liable for issues resulting from incomplete or misleading patient disclosures.
All content on this website, including but not limited to logos, images, text, and layout, is the property of Davida van der Merwe Optometrist unless otherwise credited.
Unauthorised use, copying, reproduction, or distribution of any website content is strictly prohibited.
